Basic technology of food product 5: yoghurt

Another food product made: yogurt. 

Basically the ingredients is what I heard before others who done it but this was the first time I have seen the progress. ^^ Food Technology

So these are the ingredient to make a yogurt. In fact, we are actually using the commercial type of yogurt to cultivate only. ^^ So it is milk, milk powder and also plain yogurt we need. That is all.

And from the small yogurt, we successfully made into such a big amount of plain yogurt. Hand made. Haha

I am actually afraid of it is full with milk flavor and amazingly it became just yogurt.. haha, you get what I meant??  As it is just a plain yogurt, so to avoid that we could not withstand the ''plain'', Ajan Oil prepared the topping for us. Two kind of flavor to be chosen. ^^

After the lab class, we take our food product back into the room but leave it in the room temperature for about 8-10 hours only can put into the refrigerator to let the lactic acid bacteria do their work. As that day was a very tired day so I just left it for around 6 hours then put in it and go for bed already. And luckily it was just right on time, because my friend sleep later then me the sour taste of the yogurt grow more. Hahaa..

But also thanks for the topping prepared by Ajan Oil, it is really too plain in comparison to the commercial type.. haha.. Enjoy eating it.. Yummy~~
