Holiday Week 5: The Outing Days and also the Badminton Match

So fast, holiday had gone its first half, and left not much time to spend at home. Good news or a bad one? I guess I really miss Penang already. Admit that I am a bad girl but that is how I feel right now.

After came back from Vietnam, I am continuing my busy life at home, as well as the additional one to be Daddy's driver. His eyes operation aren't really successful, although with not really much effects for the time being, but due to the removal of the lens his eye power got change until the two eyes cannot view at the same standard. (He had done for one eyes only) As a result, he cannot drive, I mean it will be much dangerous la.

But besides the extra job scope, I am still able to find time to meet my buddies. (Bad girl is always run out from home and taking excuses to be lazy >.<) I am really craving for Baskin Robbins now after realized of the 31st July ( Am sure not because of the free scope of ice cream shared in the Facebook, I am before that Okay? Believe me! XD) but then Mr Lee (not Lee Chong Wei either) was not available in the Tuesday, so I changed the plan to Wednesday evening. Meeting him and my Indian friend, Ranjeni to have a dinner together (original plan is after the meal then B&R) But then eating too large portion of dinner so give up on the BR. (T..T) Anyway, A GREAT DAY meeting those friends. They are all too long haven't have a time to meet one another. =D Back to See U steamboat was another memories.

The second day (Thursday), Andrew's invitation to the mamak stalls is initially rejected by me, as I feel guilty to be out too often. He called me after meeting up the others and ask me out again. As the boss Tan Wee Swan was too noisy at the side talking, I have to come out again to meet up with those old buddies. Although had been tired whole days long, but the chatting were really awesome seeing back them. Those stories shared were some interesting and should really revise it back. The people, the friendships, and all those that happened to each of us. I appreciate the moments that we shared. (Initially reject also due to i know the crapping time can be really long. XD )
And one thing that I just found out the boss not yet forgotten, is FIVE YEARS ago the promised BIG MEAL for me (but the fulfill day is still an unknown yet. ) Hahaha.. Saliva dropping now.. hohoho..

Friday is time for me to fill up the absence. So I was acting good to help around. Unfortunately the late sleep made me nap for two hours long until daddy complaint again. And then Saturday come, my young nephew and niece (twins) already ONE MONTH old!! I mean, I never realized that I have been home more than A MONTH! They both reach the world a few days after I back from Penang. =D
So bring daddy there to eat good meals and waiting for the call for yamcha with form six gang as we previously talk about it on Thursday. But then, no any news I can hear. Ended up, Watched TV Shows with Dad from the China Channel <非诚勿扰>. A show for the single ones to find there partner. Indeed some is quite interesting you can find there.

Reach for Sunday, went out with dear Chian Yit for movie. He asked me not to late again. But fates were always there. After get ready to go out at 2pm I go downstairs but then realized that Daddy had brought the key out (God knows why, He is not the one who drive also and somemore they drove out was the the other car =.=") Nearly Fainted. And got my anger already. They only reach home half an hour later and I have only twenty minutes to go for the movie. Been trapped in the traffic jammed for another half an hour so I am late for HALF AN HOUR for the movie. T.T Really felt so sorry aaaaaaa.....
Went to meet up my dear dear Adrina after the movie and then kept disturb her to work >.< Now only I know the Sunday is really so crowded. But it is too late to change anything. Went to Ramen again after two years. (I am actually craving for Secret Recipe but then the place were fully booked T.T)

Anyway, The best happenings to give this week a nice and great ENDING was non other than the GREAT shows by DATO LEE CHONG WEI!! After so many times of just looking at the result that posted by friends in the Facebook. I ask Daddy to watch together with me the show. (Too bad, only the last half) And no offense, It is a great game that bring both the HERO come to a fight. It is not a competition for me, if you treat it as just a competition you are totally wrong ad. A game like this after compare the power was non other than LUCK. Perhaps, luck was not by his side again. Indeed, 19-21 is really an unforgettable show (first time in my life to really watch ) in my lifetime memories. That everyone in Malaysia, particularly the one outside my house and also all my friends in the Facebook. Were so corporate to hope and pray for Dato Lee to get for the Gold.

But for myself, after lost for so many times in life. ( I have to admit it myself)
I have to shout out loud that it is not the numbers that are matters, I have enjoyed the game and everyone have tried their best. While competing there is the improved that matters us the most. Which I knows that I will be VERY very very EXCITED if we won, But the different is that I will not be so much upset when the loses come. In fact, the ways to find the solutions are much important to be noted.

In comparison, out of whole Malaysian we only have one Dato Lee, but who is next after him? I am waiting to see instead. There is much more people that backed up in China and kept appearing as compared in Malaysia we were just put a lot of pressure to those who had shown his talents. WHY NOT THAT instead of putting the pressure on the HERO, we should be the one pushing OURSELVES to achieve the BETTER us?

Dato Lee had shown his best and the improvements, why not US??? That is what give me more to think instead of the BR, holiday and the medals. Hope same for you my friends!

Vietnam Trip Day 2: Mekong River

The second day was a full day tour to Mekong river.

It takes about two hours from the place we stayed to reach the destination called the My Tho City.

As we cross the bridge for Mekong River, the tour guide shows us the coconut trees that as the important income for the people. But crossing the bridge remind me of Penang Bridge. And just realized how much I miss Penang. Is this a good sign or a bad one? Which means that the probability I will stay in Melaka after graduation will be much lower now. >.<

Overall what I still remember in the trip is we go to the My Tho city by bus for around two hours. Then take a motorboat to the Con Phung (Phoenix Island) to see the Rice Paper making and then Have lunch at the Garden Restaurant for Vietnam Style Lunch. Then cruise to see the Coconut Candy Making. Took the horse ride to another place to watch the Vietnam Musics and Singing. Then four people in a boat to back to the motor boat (the boat is with motor also but the people try to let us have the feeling for the old time so they use the traditional way lol.

This is the motor boat we sit along the Mekong river.

The drying process for the Rice Paper making process.

Griding the soaked rice to get the "juice"

I like those roof like atap house that make me feels the traditional way of living.
At the same time reminds me of the simple life that I always dream off.

The dog and the statue. Like competing who is more handsome.
XD

The Korean Pretties are here with us along the whole day.
Same with some handsome too!!
*Typing with the saliva dropping.. muahaha

we passed through the river along these trees along the Mekong river
to the place manufacturing coconut candy
and on the way leaving also.

Enjoy the old time scene.
Although knowing that there is actually motor on the boat. >.<

The process of making coconut candy:
1. Get all the content of the coconut fiber

2. squeeze them in pack by pack

3. Dissolve the content and let it melt

4. Stirring for 45 minutes. at the same time for adding sugar and favouring..

Cool it down in a big bowl and then

5. Shape them out

6. Row by row and then cut it into rectangle shape

7. Final process: Packing by rice paper and paper then putting them into plastic.
Process of making coconut candy done. =D

Back in the motor boat

some scenes that i have taken down as a memories.
Basically the house is follow French style according to the tour guide

Love the Nature!!
Weird founding: there is a few grave that appears in the middle of the field,
or some besides the house.
Alone or by pairs.
Only a few with bigger family accompany.
Pity them or shall envy that they have bigger space unlike us in M'sia?
LOL

This one is normally how the shop look like in Vietnam.

the mosque I found in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

the local bus.
Consider a better one compared to Thailand local bus.

After the Mekong River trip, we back to hotel, and then come out again by the bus no.11 for the Ben thanh Market, according to the customer service assistant. So we follow the map to there by 6pm there.
Unfortunately, the shops start to close on that day too. Managed to buy a little souvenir finally.

Then we walked without looking at the map. Randomly until tired. Walk back follow the map. Stopped by a cafe to order for a drink. *look at the menu, all the unknown language. I decided to simply finger pointing.
haha.. A way to enjoy to have a surprise on what you will get lol..

There is a lot of resting park you can find in the City.
as my friend said:
This is a place without IPHONE and IPOD
I mean at least less and people more towards the type we used to be when we are young
I mean for myself. I Did remember last time opposite my house were a playground that aloud us to play badminton and have fun there!
But no more now. T.T

This kind of clock reminds me of my hometown, the clock tower in Melaka. =D

I prefer this one rather than the one available in Melaka nowadays.
SINCERELY!

Ok, here I am done with the second day. muahaha

Vietnam Trip Day 1

I am a bit lazy to tell about the trip so just let the pictures tell you the story. =D
*I am even lazy to take photos so these were just some i take when I felt like to click it.

Most of the time I think I am in Hibernated mode. The purpose of this trip is just like for me to take a different country air for a breath from the home which somehow I couldn't take it anymore.

Experiment proven that it helps to refresh my mind to back home and continue with all the task again. =D

Day 1:

War Remnants Museum:

Basically the name of the place already tell you about the museum, a museum which tells you about the Vietnam war time ranges about 1965-1968 ( i don't remember exactly la). About how the people before, and after, how the American come and destroy their country, the side effects after too much exposure of dioxide, the bomb, the vehicles, the peoples in the country and the ones who helped.

As usual, the War is related to all these stuffs:

Some Pictures and descriptions that acted as the tour guides
to tell us about the history of the Vietnam war

The Pieces that shown to tell the truth--->

This picture is in the exhibition of the Vietnam after War

Reunification Palace:

It is the place the old president stayed. With 99 rooms, 3 maps room which they discuss on how the war should attack and protest, 2 underground floor for hiding, 1 top for helicopters to land, a lot of meeting room, dining rooms, bed rooms and so on and so forth.. I am just busy following the tour guides along with the Korean International School kids from Jakarta so just view and save the place in my brain. XD.
The overall of the Palace.

Notre Dame Cathedral:

 General Post Office :
which open daily. (regrets that I should have sent some postcards from there. >.<)

The END of first day (half day city tour in the Ho Chi Minh City.

And along the journey (when everything seems new to me.. )

To be continue.... Day 2: Mekong River One Day Tour
