It ended up that I got a big meal FOC, and the camera is hold by another men. Haha.
Everyone was attired properly except me. In the song-teaw.

This is me with the other from Malaysia. ^^
This is Asmeelya in the Party, making up herself to be a gentle lady..
but..
I just can say..
Don't judge a person from the appearance!! XD
and beside her is also in the same course as us, Food Technology, Agro-Industry.
can consider our brother also?
and he can speak Malay! haha.. our translator sometimes.
this is Alwani, another USMers. Wearing the same kind of dress also.
But she is too short to carry the dress.. haha..
Ended up with another style. =="

This is the guys in Muslim Club. Somehow the photo is taken by me as requested by Asmeelya.
This is because she wanna to snap the photos of Si Cantek there..
and then, I am the victim to become the photographer. >.<
Partially the girls.. ^^

This is part of the journey of knowing the people here.
Especially the Muslim, As, Wani, Atiqah, Ana, Kak Seri, and Tiqah.
Although they might not have the common language together with us,
They are still the brothers and sisters that welcome us as a friend,
As part of them,
because of the religion views, because of the culture.

And this is the first farewell party at MFU. Everyone is still dont feel the leaving yet.

Chinese Culture Centre

Now is the last week we are here before leaving and go back to USM to continue with our studies. And we are now having FINAL examination but mood are still flying away from me so I just come to upload some photos. This is just the part that I dont like, I love to study, love to learn but sincerely I HATE examination.

So Last Saturday we go to visit the Chinese Culture Center in MFU. We are all come here because of this place taken by the senior it is so awesome. And now before we go back we must take a lot of photos as one piece of memories that we were here.

Indeed I love the sky at here. I lost my memories of how is Malaysia sky, but I love here. The Blue color and also the white cloud, it is so clear feel like without any pollution.

besides the beautiful sky, here we found one more surprise! It is the chinese traditional music instrument that I admired the most!! Gu- Zheng
acting to play it but actually I dont know how to play but I did try it out and the sound is so nice!! How I wish I could really master a music. I miss my secondary school life with music. Argh.. But time doesn't return. Hopefully in the coming soon future I could buy myself a music instrument, maybe a keyboard to practice and learn myself!!

And then we did take alot more photos with all the MIT participants from Malaysia and Indonesia~~

4 months just pass like this. I really wish I have more time. But it is almost time to back to my original path to go on for my university life. So want or don't want, we have book our flight ticket to back to study and hope that we can catch up the study soon.

Last but not least, I really hate those examinations that make my life miserable. If not this very last week I will be enjoy the last moment at here. Haha. Can I say NO to exam??

Back to the reality, I shall now burn my midnight oil for tomorrow paper. Good luck to me!!

MidAutumn Festival

Mid-Autumn Festival is consider a very important festival in among Chinese which symbolize the family are gathered. But just too bad I am now in Thailand so cannot celebrate it with my family and another thing is I cant eat mooncake!!

Anyway, we still get to enjoy the festival a little at here. I missed out a gathering invited by a Malaysian in Thailand due to our last city tour clash on that day.
But on that day of Mid-Autumn, we go to the Chinese Cultural Center here to see the event carried out by them for this important day for all the Chinese.
These photos are the night view of the Chinese Cultural Center, but due to my hp limitations, i just can get photos like this.. >.<

and this is the China Lecturer having her welcome words for the students maybe..
then this is part of the competition i guess, or it is just a performance to encourage the student to enjoy the chinese culture, because I believe they are thai student that are learning chinese.

On the wednesday Thai language conversation class, we are given surprise by one of our classmates! He brought Mooncake for us!! And it is with the halal sign. So it is safe for Muslim to consume it. haha.. Just somehow it is somehow different from Malaysia, make me a little homesick still.. >.<

and this is Asmeelya promoting it.. :p "A-roy- maak kha" she said.. hehe

City Tour around Chiang Rai 2

Chiang Rai City Tour 2
10th September 2011, we have the second city tour at Chiang Rai organized by P’Ngew for us the MIT participants. This time we visit three places, which is the Black Temple (BanDam), Mae Fah Luang Garden at Doi Tung, and last but not least the Opium Museum at the Golden Triangle, Chiang Saen.

Undoubtedly, we are amazed by the Black Temple, the building are all in black and shows how unique are them. I did feel a little scary while looking at those skeletal and skin of the animals. But still can’t deny that I respect to the creator that has such a talent to design a Temple in this way. There is a notebook available for the visitor to left their feeling towards this Temple, yes, everyone love it too.

The second destination of the day is Mae Fah Luang Garden. This place is planted with a lot of beautiful flowers and it is well decorated. It took us a very long time to take photo until we feeling don’t want to come out from the exit.  This will become the best memories that I had experience in this city, Chiang Rai along my exchange program. I am totally falling in this place because of its natural beauty. From the sky you can see the green colors of the trees and mountain. These making me can take a deep breath from the hectic life and let my mind relax. Although today we had a very sunny day, this can’t stop us from taking photos again and again. Under the hot sun, we are still enjoying because of it is really breath taking!!

Last but not least, we come to the Hall of Opium, this project are carried out by Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage. At there, we are educated with the knowledge about opium. At first, we passed through a corridor with scary pictures on the wall and also the condition is very dark. These most probably is describing the bad effect of opium. Then, we are introduced by the guide for the opium flowers. After that, they invite us to watch the video telling us the history of the Hall of Opium being build.

“Addicts: are they not also humans? Since they are human, shouldn’t we help them? If we can help them, it will be like giving them new lives, and so we should do it.” saying of the Princess Mother.

After watching the video, we are on our own way to walk around the museum to explore here, firstly they describe about the story start from Egypt, then story in the China in the old times where those involved in the Opium war, how people lives if they are addicted, the process they produce the opium, all the instruments related to the opium, how the drugs kills although they start from medicine, how people tried to hide the opium to bring them illegally, stories in the Southeast Asia and Siam, and also those famous people that were addicted and dead in their young aged. All of them are politely, slowly telling us the stories of opium, like a teacher educating us as the students, not to go to the wrong paths on our life journey.

Before we come out from the exits, there is also a big mirror of reflection for us to re-think about what we have seen along the journey. Although we don’t really stop by there and think, but yea, again and with more confident, we will say no to all these illegal drugs that will harm our life.

Although Hall of Opium is not in our original plan, which we are actually looking forward to the Maesa Long, I feel that I really had a good lesson today in the museum. Yes, we should help those others and also keep ourselves away from those killing drugs. And these will be our last trip before our semester ended and back to Malaysia at 23rd September. I really appreciate the efforts that everyone here taken care of us during the period we stay in MFU. Khoop Khun Kha. Hope a day we will be have the chance to come here again and meeting others.
